The committee is responsible for activities related to and establishing Quality and Safety Policies or Guidelines and/or Standards for AOSR on specific areas deemed essential related to trends and needs. It complements the activities and functions of AsiaSafe.
The practice of radiology and its allied disciplines should be of a high quality. We have a duty to provide patient-centred care that is safe, effective, appropriate and impacts management maximally.
Safety is paramount in medical care. Radiology and its allied disciplines is no different.
Standards are developed to provide benchmarks to ensure safe and high quality practice.
True teamwork and collaboration is the essence and essential for “maximal” Quality, Safety and Standards.
